A Review of the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport, One of the Best Hotels near Pearson to Offer Parking and a Shuttle
This past February, our family had an early morning flight from Pearson International Airport in Toronto. We also needed parking while we were gone, so to make things easier, we opted to stay overnight in a hotel the night before departure.
After checking various hotel review websites we decided our best option was the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton. We booked our stay through ParkSleepFly since they offered packages that bundle Toronto airport hotels with parking.
We chose this Toronto airport hotel in particular as it had an airport shuttle, covered parking, and complimentary breakfasts. It was also reasonably priced, close to the airport and had a separate bedroom.

Booking the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton
To book our stay at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton, I used parksleepfly.com. Not only did they offer free cancellation, but their rates were on par with the hotel’s website. They were able to bundle together our room with 9 days of parking.
The only thing I don’t like about booking with ParkSleepFly is that although the prices are listed in CAD, the deposit taken at the time of booking is billed in USD. (The balance due at the hotel is billed in CAD.)
The Location of the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton
Located only 0.6 miles from Pearson International, the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport is a short, 5-minute drive to both terminals. Restaurants within walking distance include Turtle Jacks, Lonestar Grill and The Keg Steakhouse.
Unlike many other Toronto airport hotels, the covered parking lot was in a relatively private area off the main. This was fantastic, however, it meant the hotel was positioned by a busy intersection. The night of our stay, there was a great deal of traffic noise that lasted into the early hours of the morning, making it difficult to get some much-needed rest.
The Room at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton
Spacious and well laid out, the King Suites at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport Hotel are some of the best in the area. They are perfect for families or couples travelling out of Pearson International Airport. Each suite accommodates up to 4 guests and is equipped with a minifridge, microwave and coffee maker.
We particularly liked how our king-sized bed had its own room, separate from the pull-out couch that our daughter slept on. It was also nice that the bathroom was accessible from both the living and bedroom areas.
The bathroom itself was a good size, had modern design features, and contained a toilet, a single vanity and a shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with other toiletries such as body lotion and hand soap, were provided.
Looking out the window, we saw the planes approaching the runway before landing. Aside from that, there was little else besides the surrounding hotels and parking lots.
Hotel Amenities at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport by Hilton
The Embassy Suites Toronto Airport has several useful amenities and great perks.
Not only did they have a room service menu, a restaurant, a shop, free WiFi and an airport shuttle, but our stay included invitations to the evening reception as well as complimentary breakfasts!
At the evening reception, we were given appetizers and cocktails on the house. They served made-to-order eggs, baked goods, fresh fruit, and more at breakfast. Everything was quite tasty, and we were pleased with the variety of choices available.
The Staff and Service at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport
The staff at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were a breeze. We appreciated that they could honour our request to have our suite located adjacent to our travel companions.
Our shuttle drivers were both quite hospitable and polite, however, the shuttle itself seemed to be running behind schedule.
Our Overall Impression of the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport
Overall, we were very impressed with our stay at the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport. From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were impressed. The water feature in the lobby was eye-catching, and the common areas appeared well-kept. This positive impression extended into our suite, which was clean and modern with a light and airy feel.
Based on our experience, I am giving the Embassy Suites Toronto Airport a positive review and would, therefore, recommend this hotel to other travellers departing from Pearson International Airport.
