Mouthwatering Restaurants in Paris with a View of the Eiffel Tower

There’s no question about it, I love the Eiffel Tower. Therefore when I’m planning a trip to Paris one of my goals is to see it as often as possible. Aside from staying in an Eiffel Tower view hotel, one of the best and most relaxing ways to do this is by dining at restaurants with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

To be prepared, I’ve compiled a list of amazing restaurants in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower. With so many choices, you’re bound to enjoy a wonderful meal perfectly suited to your budget and tastes.

Le Georges

On the 6th floor of the National Museum of Modern Art, Le Georges is a popular choice among visitors looking dining options in Paris with a view of the Eiffel tower. With a unique edgy atmosphere, this cafe/restaurant serves creative French-fusion dishes. Especially busy on weekends and at sunset, Le Georges offers indoor and outdoor seating and reasonably priced main courses.

La Tour d’Argent is reputedly the oldest restaurant in Paris with a history dating back to 1582. Located on the banks of the Seine in the Latin Quarter, this sixth-floor restaurant boasts spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.  La Tour d’Argent specializes in pressed-duck and has one of the most impressive wine cellars in Paris containing more than 450000 bottles. Main courses range from approximately €80-150 and it’s important to note that the pressed-duck must be pre-ordered.

One of the finest meals in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower can be found aboard Le Calife, a cruising restaurant. Popular among first-time visitors and couples seeking a romantic dinner, Le Calife prepares each meal in its onboard kitchen. Open year-round, cruises depart every evening and also at lunchtime on the weekends. The cost for a 2-hour cruise and a 3-course meal varies between €67 and €108.

Le Bal de la Marine

Anchored along the Seine in the 7th arrondissement, Le Bal de la Marine offers great views of the Eiffel Tower. This seafood restaurant is only open on a seasonal basis, however, the boat can be rented for private events all through the year.

Bateaux Parisiens is a unique glass-encased boat which offers lunch and dinner cruises along the Seine. Here, guests can enjoy listening to live music and indulging in traditional French cuisine which is prepared on site. Be sure to book the Privilege Service for the best views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Three-course lunch cruises begin at €59 and three-course dinner cruises begin €99.

One of the best views of the Eiffel Tower can be enjoyed from Les Ombres. Located on the rooftop terrace at the Quai Branly Museum, the restaurant prepares contemporary French cuisine in an elegant setting. Many of the wines available are from French regions including Alsace, Bordeaux and the Loire, and there is also a lounge bar for guests to enjoy a variety of cocktails. Open for lunch and dinner, the cost of a three-course meal at Les Ombres begins at 71€.

Located in the Golden Triangle at Place de l’Alma, Chez Francis offers fine French dining with a fantastic view.  Facing the Eiffel Tower, the restaurant has a large outdoor terrace and a lavish interior dining room. Open daily between 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, guests can expect to pay between 35-65€ for their main course.

Maison Blanche

Located on the rooftop at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Maison Blanche is another one of the terrific Paris restaurants with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Featuring a romantic atmosphere and gourmet French cuisine, guests can choose to be seated on either the upper or lower level. The lower floor is the main dining room which offers panoramic views from its floor-to-ceiling windows while the upper level includes a colour-changing bar and an expansive garden terrace boasting unparalleled views of the Eiffel Tower.  Maison Blanche welcomes guests daily for lunch and dinner as well as on Saturdays from 12:30 am when it transforms into the hip “Club Montaigne”. Prices for a three-course meal begin at 72€.

Le Ciel de Paris

At 210 meters above the ground, Le Ciel de Paris is the tallest restaurant in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Located on the 56th floor of the Tour Montparnasse, this exclusive restaurant specializes in gourmet French cuisine. Le Ciel de Paris is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but be sure to book in advance if you want a table by the window. Prices here vary depending on your choice of seats, so take that into consideration when making reservations.

For flavours from Japan, visit Benkay Washoku, another one of the great Paris restaurants with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Located within the Hôtel Novotel Tour Eiffel in the 15th arrondissement, Benkay Washoku is known for it’s three elite chefs who specialize in Washoku, teppanyaki and sushi.

From its position in Place du Trocadéro, Maison Pradier features direct views of the entire Eiffel Tower.  Voted the “Best Chocolate Eclair of Paris” by the Figaroscope, the Maison Pradier is also known for its legendary Sunday brunch. The restaurant is also open every evening for dinner, preparing French cuisine at a reasonable price.

L’Instant by Le Paris

L’Instant by Le Paris floats on the Seine across from the Eiffel Tower in the 16th arrondissement. Focusing on BBQ’d meat and fish, l’Instant creates seasonally inspired dishes at a modest price. This restaurant is only open on sunny evenings during July and August, and there is a chance it may be closed for privately scheduled events.

For a truly unique dining experience take a trip aboard the Bustronome. Always on the move, this Paris restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower is located within double-decker bus. While it sounds tacky, it’s actually the opposite.  The interior is especially luxurious and the panoramic glass roof makes it feel like as if you are outdoors. Bustronome is open for lunch and dinner year round and serves only the best seasonally based French cuisine

Another one of the fantastic Paris restaurants with a view of the Eiffel tower is within the Terrass Hotel.  Located on the 7th floor, in the heart of Montmartre, the Le Terrass features a restaurant and bar with large bay windows and an outdoor terrace offering guests panoramic views over Paris.  Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Le Terrass is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal with a view.

Formerly Ô Paris, the Moncoeur Belleville looks out over the whole city from the outskirts of Paris. Located at the top of the Parc de Belleville in a quiet residential area, Moncoeur Belleville offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Open every day from 10 am until 2 am, the Moncoeur Belleville serves up traditional French dishes at a very reasonable price.

Le Jules Verne is closed for renovations until spring 2019.

When discussing Eiffel Tower view restaurants in Paris, Le Jules Verne deserves an honourable mention. Located on the 2nd floor of Iron Lady herself, this upscale restaurant prepares French classics with a modern flair.

Open for lunch and dinner, the prices reflect the location for this once and a lifetime dining experience.

58 Tour Eiffel

Another honourable mention on our list of Paris restaurants with a view of the Eiffel Tower goes to the 58 Tour Eiffel.  Inside the tower on the first floor, this contemporary restaurant offers up close and personal views of the metalwork as well as views outwards from its wall-to-wall windows.  The 58 Tour Eiffel is open for casual lunches and elegant dinners with or without a reservation.
