Travel can be for everyone. Whether you prefer an adventurous hike up a mountainside or a relaxing riverboat cruise, there is always an opportunity for learning and personal growth.
Travel has the power to change you. When I return home, I am never the same person that I was when I left. Experiencing new cultures challenges a person to open their mind in a way that cannot happen at home. My self-identity evolves and changes to reflect how travel has affected me. Every stamp in my passport illustrates a journey of discovery. It drives me to broaden my horizons and inspires me to share stories of my adventures with others.
My passion
My passion for travel began on my first trip to Paris when my parents took me to see the Eiffel Tower. Before we could see it through the trees, my Dad covered my eyes and led me to the center of the Parc du Champ de Mars. I will never forget the overwhelming feeling of awe I felt when seeing it for the first time. From that vantage point, the enormity of the structure was like something I had never seen. That evening we enjoyed a picnic dinner which consisted of a baguette, sliced meat, cheese, and some wine which came in juice box containers. After the sunset, the tower was lit up with thousands of small lights which twinkled in the night. This was an unforgettable experience for me, one which I hope to share with my own daughter one day.
My Goals
Not only do I want to share my knowledge, but I want to learn more about the world. I encourage each of my readers to share their insight and ask questions so we can all learn from each other. I will be offering virtual travel assistance by curating the best travel resources on the web and providing real-life experiences to help you plan your next getaway.
